Every MP3 player can use software like Juice to grab podcasts and sync. Juice is the podcast element of iTunes ripped out, in essence. It downloads new shows, deletes old ones to your specification, and can auto-check. It's what us early podcast listeners used before Apple built in Podcast support in iTunes back a few years ago.

I fail to see the purpose of this $120 device.

Tyler:

For iPod owners, it really doesn't serve a purpose. But for non-iPod MP3 players, it could be somewhat useful - if they can address some of the problems that I mentioned in the review.

What is the purpose of this device? It fulfills a problem that simply doesn't exist in my mind.
