@Tony: I found out that XtremeMac was purchased by Imation. My PR person doesn't work with them, so I can't get an answer. Maybe you can contact Imation.

Question for Julie:
They don't seem to have a sales telephone line, just a tech support number on their website, unless I missed it. Anyway, the tech rep told me there's a model number for the Iphone 3G XtremeMac Incharge Auto FM Transmitter (IPP-IFM-12), which is not on their website at this moment. The model number for the XtremeMac Incharge Auto FM Transmitter for dock connector iPod models 4G and later is IPD-IFM-10. Which model number did you use for your review? The model numbers, by the way, can be seen only when you add it to the shopping cart, as far as I can tell.

I was also told that currently the only way I could order the Iphone 3G model was through email since it doesn't appear on their website. You're not supposed to email credit card info to them, just that you want someone to contact you about placing an order for this specific model. I don't know why they don't simply update their website.

Joe:

I would say that the XtremeMac has a slight edge over the Digiana. It sounds slightly better and I like that you control the volume purely by your car's stereo and not the iPod or iPhone.

BUT, I still prefer the Digiana because it's a bit more manageable due to its size, cord design and ability to run on a battery.

Joe:

Ack! I was on the wrong page. I had clicked on their Incharge Auto link (the stand alone charger) and not the Incharge FM. Ugh. I'll go update the review. I hate when I screw up... :o/

Julie- Are you sure the $19.95 price is correct? Seems like a great value, but XtremeMac shows a $69.95 price on their site.
