&lt;p&gt;I think what you&#039;re seeing is just the glossy LCD screen. You can&#039;t remove the wooden frame, so as a result, if there is a glass covering, it also can&#039;t be removed.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;the auto on and off feature is nice.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the first thought that popped into my head when i saw this was &quot;wireless?&quot;.  that would be a nice feature.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the small size of the remote would be a concern also, looks like it would easily slip into the bight of a couch or easy chair.  it would be nice if you could maintain full functionality with the units intergrated navigation buttons in the event that the remote gets lost or broken.&lt;/p&gt;
