Mike:

I've not tried a manual can opener before. That almost sounds as scary to use as the box cutter. ;o)

"nylon handcuffs" hahah good one!

I haven't tried this but I have heard that a standard can opener (manual) does a pretty good job opening these plastic deals as well.

However, anyone w/ a daughter under 15 can testify that this Zibra would be essential for freeing a Barbie from the twist ties and nylon handcuffs that they are packed with these days.

Great gadget!

I have this product. It works great. Now, whenever I need to open anything, I just go straight for this and know it can handle it without thinking about which to use... a knife, scissor, screwdriver, etc.

I'm thinking I might buy a 2nd one to have in the glove compartment of my car. There have been several times where I've purchased something and not been able to open it till returning home.
