I have version 5, liking it very much. Big learning curve with great help from tech support when I was stumped. Be patient, read the directions an call tech support for help. I have sent DVDs around the world, with great appreciation from the recipents.

I seem to have had the same problem as Gary on Nov. 25, 2009 Mine went to step 3 of the burn, but then closes out. I solved the problem by saving in the 4.0 version, then opening version 3.0 and doing my burning. Works fine that way. It is an extra step but it does work. I have not located another product that would do the job as easy as the Honestead 4.0 product. I purchased the 3.0 version first, then upgraded to the 4.0 version.

I have the VHS to DVD 3.0 Plus not the deluxe, but I can't seem to get any help. I have everything plugged in correctly, I've tried with three different VCRs, but for some reason it is really bad quality. Anything white is really bright, other colors fade, and it's really choppy. Over all the quality is really sh*tty. How do I get better quality

Using the easy wizard mode, for some reason, once clicked, the video screen showing what I am taping goes 'green' - I taped a whole movie onto disc, I had a green screen, but the audio was OK?

I also have found the program dropped alot of frames, and the recording ended up being very choppy, this is on a dual core machine way over the minimum specs outlined. I wonder if the reviewer actually watched the dvd he created.

thanks

Can you tell us the best configuration to have to record the best quality to a single layer DVD for a video over 2 hours. Doing a straight to DVD record using the DVD setting that works is too choppy and blocky. A WMF is too small and an AVI is too large.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
