junji98:

I reviewed a similar product last year:

<a href="http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/review/zyxel_ag_225h_wifi_finder_and_802_11a_b_g_usb_2_0_adapter">http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/review/zyxel_ag_225h_wifi_finder_and_802_11a_b_g_usb_2_0_adapter</a>

I see that NewEgg.com is selling it for $60. Not a big savings over the StarTech model. And the Zyxel was very slow at scanning for hotspots.

hello. long time reader of your site, first time poster. i am intrigued by this wifi detector/access point, but as you said, it may be quite expensive. do you know of any other USB dongles that act as a wifi detector and can serve as an access point?

great site, and more power!

thanks.
