I think it is a scam. You know that the company isn't even US based! Plus on their website they have no number or address! I even called the only 2 retailers in the US that sell them and they hardly even sell! I almost bought one, but PLEASE tame my advice, do not buy the bunny!

Chris,
If they were to add all those features in there (although they would be cool) then I might as well use my laptop. A bunny with a screen to read email a camera for video phone i think is too much

I had an earlier version of the Nabaztag, but it went mute all of a sudden and hasn't said a word since. :(

Since I bought it in a shop at the airport I can't return it either.

Hmm... strikes me as a missed opportunity, really. Where's the VOIP support so I could use the rabbit as a speakerphone or even as a push-to-talk communicator with my grandmother? They should stick a Teletubby-style LCD screen in his belly and then you could subscribe to photo RSS feeds or even email images direct to another Nabaztag. In fact, why isn't there a simple camera in his nose?

Roll on Nabaztag/Tag/Tag!

MaxSMoke,

You don't have to pay for the Full service plan. They Free service gives you almost everything you need. The biggest difference with Full service is the unlimited messaging.

It's a neat device, even for it's extremely high pricetag. But what completely deters me from even considering buying one is that monthly fee. For that price, they should give away the units for free. Instead they choose to charge full price AND collect a monthly fee. That's just plain greedy. And the device doesn't really do nearly enough to justify the total cost. They should either get rid of the monthly fee altogether, or offer the rabbit for something more respectable, like $50.
