I no longer have this light, but I think the handstrap attachment was just a piece of fabric with the company name on it. @Dave Yours must be different than the one I reviewed. To rotate the beam takes a full turn and it is aluminum in colar. It is much brighter that my Led Lenser 7438, which claims 80 lumens. Is this a newer version? Also, what is that small item in the pouch that is attached to the hand strap. It looks like it has some kind of two sided tape on it. I bought it at Home Depot for $60.
