Does anyone know if the Iriver S10 mp3 players will fit in this case? It has almost the same dimensions as the Ipod shuffle.

What is the outside material made of? is it smooth? snag easily?

Definitely looks like a nice product. However, is it so that there is no outlet for the headphone cord but it just sticks out between the zipper left slightly open? This worries me because an expected lifetime for any earbuds I have owned has not been more than couple of months (afterwhich they just tend to break in one way or another) and I would guess that zipper continuously grinding shield of the cord will not do any good in that matter.

While I'm not a big fan of iPods, this case looks like a great design.
Protecting your player and storing your earbuds safely is never a bad thing, especially if you've spent a little more money on an upgraded set of 'buds.

These newer model foam style cases are a great meeting point between a lighter soft case and the better protection of a hard shell.

Ripardi,

Good question!

There is not a dedicated "hole" for the earphones in the case. However, the teeth on the zipper are so soft that I don't believe that it will cut into the external insulation of most earbuds. I've had several cases in the past that have holes to feed through the headphone jack and they tend to be problematic to detangle and completely unusable if you have a minijack with a 45 degree bend at the plug.
