I'm seriously considering picking a couple up.

It strikes me that these could be applied elsewhere too, like on projects where running time has to be roughly monitored.

I have to say though that the pic for this post looks like that lunch meat has been turned into some kind of a camera!
-trick of the light or something, but it looks like the timer is embedded into the package to me.

At first glance I thought we were being treated to an "Oscar-Mayer Cam"!</blockquote>

Strider,

I have used them for timing projects, and they work really well. The magnetic ones stick really well to a file cabinet.

One of the things I just started this weekend is putting one of the suction cup ones in the bathroom to make sure it gets cleaned every 5-7 days instead of just when it looks yucky.

I like the idea of the "Oscar-Mayer Cam"! I'm a home automation buff and it would be amusing to monitor the inside of my fridge. Maybe it would solve that age-old question if the lights are on when the door is closed ;)

One last thing I didn't mention in the review:

The ladies at doubleu products have created a 25% discount coupon for The-Gadgeteer readers. Just enter "gadgeteer" on the order page.
