One of them is the Maxpedition Proteus bag. It has the same dimensions as the Victorinox bag, but makes very inefficient use of that space. On the other hand, it is totally waterproof and durable as anything, so for a hike, it would make a great gear bag. I may bring the Proteus with me on my early April trip to New Mexico instead of the Vic bag just to get a feel for it. I also have a Tumi Flow Flap Body Bag coming (got it for answering Harris Polls for the last four years), so I will review that as well.
