Macbook-case.com also sell MacBook Pro Case. (15 inch and 17 inch)
That's right ppl, it's Purple MacBook Pro . Actually, it's Mac with purple case.
It looks neat, huh? I love it too. I didn't expected to be this good but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
Now, I don't have to worry about getting scratches and everywhere I go, people asked me about this Mac.
Check the picture here: Macbook Pro Case Picture
And you can purchase at here: MacBook Pro Case

Hi Dreamer!

There is an update to my review that will be posted shortly. My case was defective (the tabs would not stay in place) and I have written this update based on the new case.

I ordered a RED one shortly after receiving the product announcement from SpeckProducts (I once had an iPod housing from them, and later one for a Blackberry 7100t).

Since almost all of my coworkers also have MacBookPros (or the older PowerBooks), I wanted mine to stand out from them.

The alignment issue mentioned affecting the IR and sleeplight/latch problem doesn't affect mine.

Can you not get the little tabs on either side of the base (no. 2 on the installation diagram...like the tabs at the four corners of the top...A&B on the diagram) all the way over the edge of the MBP? Mine does and it fits quite securely and doesn't block anything along the front....

The pictures in the review show that these tabs aren't over the edge....

Suprisingly enough, the case does not significantly influence the temp on my Macbook Pro. I'll post some temp readings tonight.

This seems like a really bad idea....is it?

Heat pours off the Macbook Pros, and a fair amount of the heat dissapation has to come through the metal case. Covering it with even a thin layer of material seems like it could have dramatic effects on cooling.

It'd keep you from burning, but might cook the tender insides of the laptop.

Moo,

I've never really understood why people who are so concerned with cosmetic damage, would ever consider getting a product that scratches so easily. Personally, I buy ugly stuff that works well. That way I use it. If I just want it to look pretty, I'd put it on a shelf and never touch it.

Forrester: That looks like a very interesting alternative. When the Macbook Pro version is out, I'll likely take a look!

Thanks for the review. A possible alternative:

http://www.saunders-usa.com/rhinoskin/?brand=278&model=279

I don't have a Macbook, but it looks interesting.
