I had another “this is why I love my PDA” moments today… I had a doctor’s appointment to get a cortizone shot in my shoulder. Shots don’t usually bother me, but just the thoughts of having one in a joint was making me a bit nervous. Lucky for me, my hour wait to get into the examining room was made a little less stressful by a very cool new Astraware game called Glyph.

Available for Palm OS, Pocket PC and Windows Mobile Smartphones, this is a gorgeous puzzle game that will totally keep your mind occupied. It looks great on my Treo 750v, even in 240×240 resolution. It’s my new fave game and can be yours too. If you buy it before 12/31, you can even get it for $5 off the regular price of $19.95. Make sure you use this link to get the special price (no, I don’t get any kick backs…).

FYI: The actual shot of cortizone wasn’t that bad at all. My doc is a great shot giver. However, the cortizone meds felt pretty ouchy going in… Here’s hoping this fixes my frozen shoulder so that I won’t need surgery in 6 weeks!
