Speck Products Active-Sport Armband for the iPod Nano

This is the second Nano sports armband review I’ve done. The first review was on the Nike Sport Armband which has done an excellent job holding my Nano during my running. That being said, my initial impression of the Speck Active-Sport armband for the first generation Nano was that it was too big and bulky. But after using it several weeks it has grown on me enough to replace my Nike armband. An added bonus of the Speck armband is that it includes a sensor pouch to hold the Nike+ sensor.

Xbox 360 2 in 1 Cooling Stand

With every PC, Game station, entertainment device generation, the goal is making things run faster. As a result cooling is important for the device’s life span. If they don’t stay cool, the device will burn up and then your 100 to 2000 dollar device is a oversized paper weight. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 early on had heat issues with constant use. Several companies have come out with an add-on to the station to help mitigate the heat issues with additional cool fans.

iHome iH5 Clock Radio

I don’t think I am wrong when I make the claim that the Apple iPod has generated more accessories than any other electronic device on the market today. There’s always room for one more iPod accessory right? Today I’m going to review the iHome iH5. This is a clock radio compatible with all iPods that have a docking connector. Hey, you you don’t even need an iPod to use this device. It’s a lot more fun if you do though.

Vsnotepad – Windows Mobile Utility

In my opinion, this is one of those applications for which all PocketPC and Windows Mobile OS devices are specifically made for…taking notes on the spot! There is nothing more natural to me than to use these devices for such purposes and yet the basic Microsoft notepad is still lacking. I think the proof is in the dozens of notepad replacement products on the market today with each one having their own unique spin on how one takes notes. Vsnotepad from Virtual Spaghetti has its own simple philosophy on note-taking and may just be a worthy contender in this software category.

Vaja RI61 Blackberry 8700 Classic Pouch

The Vaja Classic Pouch for the Blackberry 8700 has been my most anticipated case in quite a long time. This was primarily due to the fact that my stock belt-clip holder has been broken for some time now and the clip was rubbing/marring my device. While being very utilitarian, this horizontal ‘pouch’ has all the Vaja style and craftsmanship that we have come to love & expect.
