October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and therefore there are many companies that work with the Susan Komen Foundation to produce pink items as fundraisers. This year I even saw pink TicTacs!

Please enlighten me. Why is October a Pink month?

The funny thing is, when I saw that it was red, I thought it might be too bright and girly for me! Over an afternoon it really began to grow on me. Now this bag is not only my favorite gear bag but it’s influencing some of my buying decisions towards red. If you’d like to get in touch with your feminine side, I’d be happy to lend it to you for a week

But seriously, this is a hard time for men to buy anything online at places like eBags. During the month of October everything is pink pink pink.

Fear not, Xmas should bring a bumper crop of non-shiny black, grey, or brown bags…

I have been searching Ebags for my next bag to try, but I love my Ellington bag so much (especially now that it’s getting a bit scuffed with use) that I don’t know what could replace it! I got a Dell Axim X51v yesterday…after initial frustrations, it’s possible that this could replace my small laptop on trips!!! Netfront 3.3 is an EXCELLENT VGA-capable browser.
