I have a similarly small 4 port unpowered hub and I find it perfect for connecting my Wireless mouse (with bluetooth hub), wireless keyboard (RF transceiver), MCE Remote and printer/scanner/copier all to one USB port!! None of these devices pull too much power, and instead of having 4 USB ports used on my PC, I now have only one!
