Surprisingly why so many fight Oakley Thump with the exactly same style but cheaper prices. The thump togehter this one in report are rigid masculine creations, needless to say how ugly and freak it will make you to wear it; on the flip side, Oakley improved thump to split thump which is much softer and women friendly, most importantly, removable earplugs, i can't see a reason not to buy it but the prices. Check out more Oakley Thump styled mp3 sunglasses

You might be right that these are Oakley rip-offs, but you might want to note that many people think Oakley shades are a rip-off themselves.

Oakley must hire marketing morons to write up their shade descriptions which amount to nothing more than plastic and some good optics [they even invent words to make plastic sound better than what it is]. Have you read some of these ridiculous descriptions?

Yeah, their x-metal frames are nice, but those are in a different category. They dare have plastic sunglasses priced at $400, who are they kidding?

Q: Did anyone notice that the 1st gen thumps sold for like $500 and then when the Thump II came out, the 1st gen could be found in clearance dumps? So, how much are these things really worth at-cost and how much was Oakley jacking up the price?

I guess someone has to pay for those outlandish stores and big metal sunglass cases they have on display.

I would buy these units in a heartbeat if I was into this sort of thing.

2 cents,

Yikes! Biggest con of all: These are Fakelys, or Foakleys, or Fauxkleys.

These are rippoff of the Oakley Thump, only they look much more cheaply made, and of course the lenses won't be up to snuff compared with XYZ Optics. I think the Oakleys are missing out on the sound quality, but they make up for it by knowing what they're doing with lense quality.

These won't have either the sound or the quality, they're just ripoffs of the Oakley Thump.
