I love this thing. I've had mine for nearly a year, and wow, I love it. I recently bought a new phone (Audiovox Pocket PC) and the thing paired quickly with very little intervention on my part. Normally I expect rechargable batteries to lose a bit of their overall charge capacity over time and use, but I haven't noticed any loss. I still have hours of talk time per charge, which is a good thing--I'm always on my phone. ;)

I just learned that this week (July 30 - Aug 5) this headset is
on sale at CompUSA for $39 with a $30 rebate. Not bad for $9.99!

Caveat: This is my first headset. Ever. Never even put one on before...

It seems fine. I've only called myself so far, hard to tell about the voice quality. I did notice that my phone rings several times before the headset "rings".

It seems comfortable enough that I'm sure I'll forget to take it off until I develop a routine.

I bought it primarily to have a way to "safely" talk on the phone while driving. My car is a manual, so turning corners while shifting gears is interesting while on the phone. I put safely in quotes as there are several studies that show that it's the call itself, not the hands or hands-free, that makes it dangerous. I'm just taking care of the bit that I can address.

FYI: The CompUSA in my area (San Diego) is selling them for $40, and there's a $30 erebate, making the net cost $10.

I went out and bought it this morning. For the price, it could be pretty bad and still be worth it.

The temples on my glasses are round instead of flat. I think that's the main reason why the clip doesn't hold. Yes, I tried attaching them while my glasses were not on my head :)

I wondered about that, Julie, because I think your glasses aren't as thin as mine. Did you try clipping it on your glasses while they were not on your head so you could see the clip as it was attached?

The glasses way is the only way for me to go, because I don't get earaches from it.

Doug:

Do you wear the headset clipped to your glasses? I wasn't able to test that very well with my thin frames.

This is my favorite headset as well. It does not make my hear or ears hurt when I wear it, and it pairs well with the normally flaky-to-pair-with Treo 650.

Cardo is also good to the customers. My glasses clip broke and they sent me a new one right away with no troubles.

Also, with a little shopping around, it can be found in the $40 range.
