Good point. Similar to Apple’s claim that their eMacs have 5 USB ports (3 on the computer, 2 on the kb–they ignore the keyboard uses one of the computer’s ports)

It actually only adds 3 ports of each type to your computer. You are using one port on your PC to connect to the hub for each type of port…

So you gain 4 USB and 4 Firewire, but lose 1 USB and 1 Firewire on your PC.

Darn, and I just bought a hub for my Shuffle.

I got the Belkin F5U237.

When you said Shuttle and then Mini….I thought you were talking about something that went with SFF PCs….so hearing something that does USB and Firewire and complements the Mac Mini…that would be nice. I know I’m going to need a hub or two, when I get one.

Interesting product. I saw it when it was released, but didn’t know it was for sale yet. Even more interesting is the Cruiser, made by the same company… very UFO hip
