I would have never in a million years thought that it would be possible, but I have been sucked into an RPG!
I was sent a notice from Peter Balogh, of PDA Mill that their new game Arvale was available.
So I went to take a look, and I even sent Julie and email to tell her that PDA Mill was releasing something right up her alley. I went ahead and downloaded the game just to see how the picture was and if it “looked decent.” So the little story that sets up the game started, and it was engaging, and I thought what the heck – “I'll play.”
Three hours later I realized that I was getting nothing done today! I got totally sucked into the world of “Duncan Forsythe, son of Druncan Forsythe, the Royal Gardener of Entoque Castle.”
This chap is chosen to battle the big bad Dark Dragon, and it is the players job to talk to every character encountered, find items of value and fight foes as is necessary.
I guess I know what I will be doing for the next week or so. ;0)
