		<description>Hello,

Nice review of this item. I have had mine for some time. It is something that I seldom use, but is one of those things that does provide a good level of enjoyment. It is more or less a Collectors item. So for anyone who enjoys technology such as broadcasting it is a good example of what can be acomplished with technology.

it is what it is, and truthfully, it does have a very good tuner, and great sounding headphones. It does not take really long to charge up and runs for about a hour or so..

The antenna is actually in the special headphones... it uses a special type of connector and all... so be careful with them. they are not standard, and next to impossible to replace.

The biggest disadvantage to this product is that in many areas which have converted to the &#039;Digitial Changeover&#039; in the broadcast world of a now all digitial siginal, this device can not be used as it would before to receive standard over the air broadcasts...

The solution is kinda simple... but is more or less a work around to simply use the device at home, or power it up to show a friend or discuss the item in general...

it does not have a antenna jack... it also does not have AV jacks.. so for folks in the USA this item is pretty much useless now..

UNLESS... (-:

you simply obtain a simple AV modulator or simple UHF transmitter... and put a small antenna on it...

the small low power transmitters work for several feet... and you could even use the output from a DTV box as example.. or simple DVD player of what have you...

mine is in very very good condition and was stored in a small pellican case just to keep it safe or getting lost... it is very small.

it is to my understanding, the worlds smallest color television set.

kinda cool when you think about it...
