Raise your hand if you can remember when I was using a Pocket PC as my
primary PDA? Yah, I know – it's been ages. Adding more ammo to my
argument that I am not missing anything by using a Palm, eSoft Interactive has
released one of my favorite Pocket PC puzzle games for the Palm, Traffic Jam.
Back in 2001, this game made the cut as one of my favorites, and the new Palm
version is even better. I use a Zodiac2, so I appreciate that the
background of the game fills the whole screen. I am up to level 25 which I have
to admit has me a little bit stumped…but I'll figure it out…eventually. I just re-read my old review, and I can see this is the same level that gave me trouble back then. I will beat this game…
The object is to move your little yellow VW out of the parking lot from h*ll in
as few moves as possible. The graphics look great, the sounds are good (but can
easily be killed once they grow annoying), and the price is pretty darn fair at
just $5.95.
