Mr Flibble

I think you make some good points here. I addressed the issue of poking your fingers into the holes to answer calls. I'm neither hamfisted not dainty and can do so with some effort.
The same goes for the D-pad although I haven't tried it for gaming.
Sorry about the headphone jack. This was not thoroughly tested as I am hooked up via bluetooth.
As for signal strength, I have not found this to be an issue but others may want to consider it if they are in poor coverage areas.
After a month of use I can still say that for protecting your PDA this is a nice unit but for telephone usability it has some shortcomings.

Julie, I'm going to assume your fingers a wee bit finer then mine are. I also purchased this case and would like to share a few additional thoughts ...

1. It was damn near impossible to press the onhook and offhook buttons with the case closed.

2. The navigation pad was also difficult to use with the case closed.

3. The PDA surface is about 5mm below the surface of the case. This is why the buttons are so difficult to access hopwever the on and off hook area is far two small.

4. With the case closed you can not attach your 2.5mm head phones without putting considerable pressure on the rubber grommet for the head phone jack to stretch clear of the clase.

5. Leave the lid open and check the signal level. Now close the lid, leave it a minute. Open and check the signal level. The case causes a decrease in signal reception of more the 50% in my location. I assume this isn't a Innopocket design issue but an issue with any phone edition PDA.

So, I would recommend leaving your cash in your pocket as this case will cause you to miss calls and when reception is OK maybe you might be lucky enough to press that onhook button in time ...

Awesome!

I got one for my Clie TH-55 and there is an opening for every function. Now if I drop it I won't cry quite so much, and I am a confirmed klutz so I know I will drop it.

What it does not do:
1. It will probably not protect your PDA if it is run over by a car. It might not protect it if you sit on it, but then again it might depending on your weight, the surface underneath the case, the nature of the PDA... in other words, for crush protection, YMMV.
2. It is not waterproof.
3. You cannot put this model in the cradle inside the case, although you can plug the charge/sync connector in from the cable that comes with the TH-55. In other words, you have to take the PDA out of the case to sync or charge it on the cradle, but you can sync or charge it in the case with the charge/sync cable.

With these caveats in mind, this is an excellent product at an excellent price point, IMHO. If you think you will drop your PDA some day, this is really good cheap insurance- I'd rate it up there with screen protectors for cheap insurance. :)
