Ok I know this its been a long time BUT E700 was my very first phone and i still got it and it is still working, ive neever thought about photos to my Pc since i was only around 12 when i got the phone.

Now i really want to send the photos on to my computer via the infared!!!

Ive downloaded the program and i have Infarred port on my computer! Ive tried doing it and i first went to setup but it just say offline and it don;lt work.

Pleasee! Someone guide me through after loading the program up!!!!!!

Hi,
I’ve got a Samsung e715 and I’m also trying to access the images on my phone. I’ve installed the EasyGPRS/EasyStudio/GPRS Wizard and I can access my phone book and call records and text messages.

I see in this forum that I also need the File Manager in order to get my pictures? I saw on another forum that the Easy softwares are outdated for Samsung and I should instead download PC Studio II/PIMS.

Can someone advise me on which software(s) I should have? I’d rather not clutter my computer with redundant or useless programs.

Also, when I try to run EasyStudio, it tries to load my phone data and it says there’s an error reading messages and then it freezes when it’s “Loading the MS’s Organiser data.” Does anyone know what’s wrong?

Help, i’m having the same trouble you are all describing. i have an infrared lead and have also downloaded file manager. my computer recognises the phone and it gives you an option to upload things from computer to phone, but not the other way around. when i try to use file manager it says its offline and changing the port to IRDA does not help. can anyone help??

As previous replies state go to http://www.samsung.co.uk and download the file manager software. once installed go to top menu bar and select file\setup\configure (the default is COM port 1) once in the set the port to IrDA. Go through the phone menu through the right arrow to section 5.8 to activate the Infra red. Once activated the phone will connect to the computer and a explorer window will be available to effectively FTP to the PC.

hope someone can help with this….
my ex has given me his samsung E700, which is all well and good, but when I tried to change the wallpaper, and went into images, I saw that he has saved some pics of him with his tongue down his new girlfriends throat…the bounder!!!
Now I’m a reasonable girl, so after ranting for about an hour, I tried to delete them, but there doesn’t seem to be any way of doing this.
Given the fact that I really don’t fancy having these pics around, can anyone offer some advise on removing the offending articles?
Would really appreciate it

i ve tried everything to upload pictures to the phone from the pc and i just can t !!

i ve already downloaded easystudio pc from the samsung web site but it still doesn t work

has anyone found out how to get the pictures from your phone to your pc.. i wasnt sure how to do it with that filemanager so if anyone has any ideas please let me no..

Hi – did you use the File Manager? You can only download picture via the File Manager. Choose the appropriate folder in the phone where your pictures are saved and choose a folder on your hard drive. Then it should work!
