It is left recessed below the silicone and does not protrude at all. Nice, I keep my belt clip off because I don't use it and it is great that it has this option. Very unique. A good site to see them is <a href="www.theistore.com">www.theistore.com</a> . It is definitely the best site to see all the colors selection. Also all the eXo's at the iStore come with a bonus case to carry the accessories or I keep my iSkinned iPod in this case when I travel so that it doesn't turn on and off and drain the batteries. I am normally very conservative, so I figured a glow-in-the-dark blue case would be a nice change. The case is very well made, and Lajo (the designer) is very responsive.
