I received my refurbished 5040 ReplayTV last night. SONICBlue had a fantastic deal a few weeks ago. Order a refurb for $349, and lifetime service was included. Wheee! So, now I have 2 ReplayTVs. The 5040 is great because it has an Ethernet connection. It also has an automatic commercial skip feature which is great!
Now I just need to goof around with streaming shows from the ReplayTV in the living room to my computer. I'm pretty sure there are shareware / freeware applications available that allow this.
