I have a question that I have been wondering about for some time, and maybe some of you might know the answer – or at least be able to give me a compelling reason. Here goes:
Why is it possible to flash the Linux OS onto a PPC device, like what has been done with iPAQs in the past, yet no one has flashed a Linux device with either a Pocket PC or Palm OS? Reason? I would love to have a SHARP Zaurus SLC760 that ran either PPC or Palm. Has anyone been able to put a different OS on this device? Has anyone even tried? If not, why not…and if so – where do I buy one??
