Judie’s Gear Diary – 2003-03-19

This isn't exactly gadget related – but I found this auction interesting. Evidently the optician to the stars (Sammy Davis Jr., Liz Taylor, Elton John, etc.etc.) didn't make enough selling these celebrities thousands of dollars worth of eyeglasses. He is now auctioning off the molds for Elvis Presley's famous “TCB” sunglasses that had the initials “EP” on the bridge. As Dennis Roberts says, “I am auctioning off the Original Molds and All of my Rights, Title and Interest in them!! This is your once in a life-time opportunity to start your own Sunglass Company!!”
