I have a Zire M150 and now have a Mac and the software that I had is out of date and need to find an update software so I can add it to my mac computer so I can use the Zire, I love it.

@Lisa you should still have all your data on the computer that you sync it to. You could find a used (working) one on eBay, plug it in, sync and there’s all your info.

i have the zire m150 and it just quit on me – i have some power but it shows all my data is gone – i use it all the time but left it in the the trunk of my car in the heat and now it seems i lost everything – already tried resetting with no luck – any ideas?

I bought a used Zire m150 today and I charged it, but can’t get it to work. The touchscreen is unresponsive and I have tried resetting it several times. Anyone know what I can do to fix the touchscreen? It comes up for calibration in the top left of the screen, but a touch anywhere on the screen still does not work! I kinda wish I didn’t buy it! Please help!

My trusty Zire appears to be suffering from old age. Like older people, it has a lot of information stored in its memory that I can’t bear to lose.

I put a new appointment in my Zire the other day and hours later, I found it was still on. I tried to turn it off and was unable to do so. Rather than keep it on until the battery died, I put it on “life support” — the charger, until I could figure out how to revive it, if possible. Any ideas?

@Julie – No, you can charge it from the USB cable as long as the port is USB 2.0 compliant. Almost every computer made in the last 5 years is USB 2.0 compliant so it should work unless the battery is worn out.

@Collette – No, you don’t have to send it in to the factory if all that’s the matter is a discharged battery. Charge it, sync it, and you’re ready to go.

@Chad You need the AC adapter to charge the battery. The USB cable is only for syncing to your computer, not charging.

I have an m150 palm zire that I bought off of Ebay for 6 dollars a few months ago. The seller had taken extreme care of it as it moves without a hitch. My only problem is the 2mb memory. So tonight I bid on the palm zire 21 with the 8mb. I put in 2 bids and won the item for 21 dollars, altho I had bid 30. I had bought a color palm that would not calibrate, so its useless except for time date and addresses. I also bought a Dell axim that won’t work well with memory cards. I figure its like my dad use to say before he died. You can even buy brand new cars that prove to be worse then the one you had. I’ll stick with the palm m150 with the 2mb until the other one arrives. Maybe, just maybe, I don’t need to know to much anyway!!!!

I had a Zire M150 in the USA and took it to Europe. I didn’t charge it on time and it went dead. A store told me it has to be returned to the USA factory to have it reset. Has anyone else ever had this problem or have any tips? Thanks.

I just dug up my old Zire m150 and it still works. I find it interesting to note that you can actually charge the m150 with the USB connection as well. It takes a little longer than using the other charger, but it does work fine.

My Palm Zire m15o has been serving me well for many years. However, l’m suddenly unable to synchronize addresses from the computer to the palm. What am I doing or not doing that has caused this to happen? I’ve never had a problem before. Can anyone help?

I had one of the older models for a brief time. It was a fun little unit that created surprisingly crisp movies. I’d really like to get a digital camcorder sometime soon… Maybe I should splurge on this one?

This is pretty cool. Very expensive though. Makes me wonder how good of quality MPEG4 is, though.
