For all of you Sony CLIÉ NR series people out there, you need to take a look at NR Buttons from Stand Alone Inc. This is a nifty little utility that allows you to add buttons and a simple popup app launcher list to the bottom status bar of your virtual graffiti area.
Unlike other solutions, no skins are needed. The icons for the applications that you choose to add to the bottom are automatically minimized.
