I just got word from Amazon that my new Clie will be shipping soon. Although they are showing it as shipping within 24 hours, my confirmation has a May 6th delivery date. Whatever. Either way, it is still more information than Sony has bothered to give Julie – and she ordered directly from their site! Why is it usually the case that you get better service from other retailers than you get when you order directly from the manufacturer? What a pain!
