Perhaps you both refer to a different brand of cable ?
Meanwhile I checked with the people at Vaja. They claim it cannot be done "due to the item bottom shape".

Excellent, thanks ;)

Regarding the USB-Sync-Charger, I bought one recently and I CAN'T use with the case on! I should have done real shopping instead of online shopping so I could really see the design.

On mine, the rear of the charger extends to provide a sort of supportive back for the male end and because of this critical feature/flaw, I have to take my C out of its case :-(

Mind you, it's really not THAT big of a pain for me. Your mileage may vary...

Tony.

Prior to switching from my actual m500 to a Tungsten C, your review was very welcome. Thanks, I'm definitely in for a Vaya case.

Given the powerfull batterie, I would probably hotsync a lot without the need of the cradle.
Can a Palm InnoPocket USB-Sync-Charger cable be attached an used for hotsync without removing the PDA from its case ? </blockquote>

Yes, I'm a brit - from Wales actually...born and bred. So, while I've managed to retain a vast amount of my peculiar native banter, Microsoft has seen to it (via spellchecker) that my written prose gets de-anglicised.

I live in San Francisco so can't unfortunately comment on the UK Starby's but the UK/Europe does have a tendancy to be ahead of the US in things like broadband, wireless, 3G, etc, so I wouldn't be surprised at all.

I too am thinking of an i-volution case for my iPod...when you get it you should submit a review!

Cheerio
Tony.

Am assuming you are British (because you are translating the term gobsmacked)...
So why do you spell 'colours' without a 'u'?

And do UK Starbucks have hotspots these days then (I live in HK) :)

Nice review - I have my first i-volution case coming for my ipod this week, and if it's a goodun, I will upgrade my PDA case as well... </blockquote> :p

I just received my case today. It's great! I can't believe that I spent this much $ on a case but I'll get over it. I also have the E&B slipper case and I do think that the Vaja is worth 3 times as much. The precision and quality are unbelievable. FYI: there is no reset hole, my Tungsten C doesn't fit near as tight (difficult) as the reveiwer's, and yes, the sync cable works just fine.

Hi there,

The flip cover is attached to the body (the part into which the Tungsten is placed) by a strip of leather that's about 1.5" wide. This is very flexible so when you open the flip cover, you can flip it...I would guess around 310 degrees. What prevents a full 360 degree flip is the button on the back that the Ultra Clip attaches to.

So, if you're hoping that you can flip the cover right over and hold the unit flat in your hand with the cover in the palm of your hand, the answer is no.

Tony.
