Judie’s Gear Diary – 2001-11-16

So, how many of you are going to see the new Harry Potter movie this weekend? Julie saw it today – and I am taking my daughter and a couple of her friends to see it tomorrow. I can't wait!
I want to tell you about a particular game that I am thoroughly enjoying: Bob the Pipe Fitter, by Hexacto. This game is similar to Tetris, but with a twist: Bob uses different joints of “pipe” which you need to fit together as they fall from the top of the screen. You use the hardware buttons on your Pocket PC to direct where the pipes are to fall – but the catch is that unlike Tetris, you can't rotate the pipes to fit. It takes a little while to get used to this “limitation,” but once you do – the game is FUN!
