It was a big, huge pain.

I think that I had to install the m100, which overwrote the Clie sync stuff, but got the m100 hooked up. Then I backed up everything, installed the Clie Palm Desktop software and hotsync stuff, and it worked.

Do note that the m100 was using a serial sync cable, and the Clie used USB. That may have been part of the reason for my success.

In theory is should work though… the Sony’s used a slightly modded version of the palm hotsinc util, so it should work…

I had to delete all my Palm desktop stuff in order to get the CLIE NZ to sync…but that’s fine.

I have decided that I am DONE with 320 x 320. It doesn’t matter how “cool,” or “nice” the PDA is. From now on – if it doesn’t have a full size screen with virtual graffiti – I won’t be buying one. That doesn’t mean I won’t review a 320 x 320 PDA – it just means that I won’t be buying one for myself.
