OK, I've put both a Clie and a Palm on the same desktop, before. (Not one of the newer ones, though. An m100 and a T655C.)

It was a big, huge pain.

I think that I had to install the m100, which overwrote the Clie sync stuff, but got the m100 hooked up. Then I backed up everything, installed the Clie Palm Desktop software and hotsync stuff, and it worked.

Do note that the m100 was using a serial sync cable, and the Clie used USB. That may have been part of the reason for my success.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't run a Palm and a CLIE on the same desktop. Annoying, isn't it? I don't even think there is an aftermarket solution...but if anyone knows of one, let us all know.

Judie :0)

In theory is should work though... the Sony's used a slightly modded version of the palm hotsinc util, so it should work...

If somebody sends me a TC I more than willing to test is out ;)

I had to delete all my Palm desktop stuff in order to get the CLIE NZ to sync...but that's fine.

I have decided that I am DONE with 320 x 320. It doesn't matter how "cool," or "nice" the PDA is. From now on - if it doesn't have a full size screen with virtual graffiti - I won't be buying one. That doesn't mean I won't review a 320 x 320 PDA - it just means that I won't be buying one for myself.
