it's either that, or for accomodating the 38/3900 series, or just design. I also have a 3600, with speaker at the bottom, and the opening allows access to the power button, microphone and alarm lights (as well as the same on the 38/3900's). I do hope that you're asking about the DSI case, as I don't know about the other two?!?!:o

Hello all!
Love the sight and thanks for the review. I can't tell in the pictures but do you think that the hole on the cover is to let the sound out at a louder volume when the case is closed?

I liked the DSI review so much that I bought one of the cases. I'm the type that takes my iPAQ everywhere. I MEAN EVERYWHERE! While the plastic is not as great as the iProducts Kydex holsters, and I had to put electrical tape on the inside of the DSI holster to make for a more tight fit, I am really enjoying my case.

The only other complaint I have is the belt clip. Almost all companies use the same design, and they are junk. I did buy a TekLok clip from E&B cases, but the hole was too small for the DSI case (even though customer service said it would fit  ). Other than that, I'm happy with it.

Maybe iProducts could team up with DSI for the plastics, and E&B for the belt clip...

P.S. If you like the DSI holsters, look on eBay! I got mine for under $20!!!

Thank you for the review. I was about to go out and buy this case, however, I won't spend money on a case to won't meet my needs.

I wish that someone would make a case like it that was of good quality. I like that it holds business cards and SD cards. I liked that it was metal, as I have dropped mine a few times and I get scared, really scared. Finally, I liked that it opened from the top.

I have looked at the Rhinoskin hard case, but I don't like the style and it does not close well either.

Any suggestions or comments would be great.

That Belkin hard case looks very cool, would love to get one but the iPAQ 5450 won't fit there due to the small stubby antenna. Hope they make one for the iPAQ 5400 series.
