I loved my Handspring Visor Deluxe.
It had all my info, synchronized easily & completely, AND I replaced the batteries about once a month. I dislike all of the gadgets that need recharged almost daily.

I had to retire it when I got Windows 7, 64 bit.
I'm not a great Tech Guru ... but I do OK.
I couldn't get Hotsynch to work. I tried the 32 bit "sub-program," I tried internet fixes, and I tried Microsoft Tech support for several hours. No luck.

I gave up the fight and am currently using the HP Ipaq PDA, I've downloaded a program so I can still use some software that I used with the Handsrping. It is ... OK, but requires recharging a few times a week. Plus - the datebook program isn't as nice. At a glance, the week view shows you when appts are, but you have to go into each appt to see what it is - or look at the daily frame.

Good luck with your Handspring Visors.

I would like to say thanks as well for keeping the older pages. I collect the older PDAs like these, and use them too. The thing that annoys me is when people say they are useless. The Visor Deluxe I have is one of my favorites!

Julie, Just wanted to thank you for the great site and encourage you to continue to keep these old "outdated" pages. I was an early Visor Deluxe adopter and after all these years just bought 2 off Ebay for $10 each (blue/orange - like new) for a specific need. Ran across this page while reacquainting myself with the device. Will be syncing it to my (heavily modified) Ubuntu laptop via custom software.
