well I carried a 3xe forever seems like just found a 5 in a used store
so I got on ebay a got a 5x and have not been sorry now has anyone had any luck with reloading linux on a palm??????

@Wendy I’m going to assume that you might be able to download the software for the Palm M125 and use it instead… It seems to be the oldest palm model that they still support. You might need to buy a serial to USB adapter to use it though…

ugh you can just buy the printer port to seral adapter.. that woud work its simple.. and very low cost..

@francisco Yikes… If I remember correctly it was not an easy process. I remember opening mine and it required heat and a butter knife. The metal shell is glued to the plastic body.

I just had the Palm V given to me. And I’m not able to plug the 9pin serial adapter into the back of my modem. I don’t have an extra space. There’s only one and it’s where the monitor plugs in. Is there an extension I could put in? Or can I pretty much do the same stuff just using the cradle?
